I would vote not, as agelder points out too many differences.
a ranger 3.0 is more similar to a aerostar than windstar and they have a sep. forum...
you would risk too many posts that do not apply from one vehicle to another and end up with confusion and jeopardizing the value of the collected information of the existing forum.
It has taken some time to mass the wealth of aerostar unique information this forum is valuable for.
You risk having *some* non technically savy minivan owners mis-aplying the information for one platform to the other also...
I would have to agree with everyone on this. Adding a new forum for the Windstar is a fantastic idea, but to combine it with Aerostar would be a bad move. If both were based off the same platform I may have leaned towards combining them, but there are just too many mechanical differences between the FWD platform of the Windstar and the RWD architecture of the Aerostar.
The Windstar is built on a car platform and there are no plans to include a forum for it. The Aerostar is built on a truck platform which is why it is here. This is a Ford TRUCK website only, -sorry.
Try getting one of the Ford car forums to include the Windstar.
There is also a poll going in the User Feedback forum on this subject. You can find more information there.
