New C600 Owner Here!
Hey guys,
I just started restoring a 1970 C600 (hence my username) and the joy of these trucks is big in every way. Mine's an old beavertail equipment hauler from Idaho, but now it's been shortened to become my personal Jeep hauler... and fit in my L.A. driveway lol.
Two things strike me about the C600: It is enormously nimble when it comes to the steering, but enormously awkward when shifting the 4 speed. That mechanical coe linkage is an interesting piece of engineering!
My first question to the brain trust here is this: I've got a replacement passenger windshield because the one in it has a sizeable crack in it. Finding the glass was relatively easy... but so far the quest for the rubber gasket has been fruitless.
Does anyone have a lead?
