So I purchased a 2015 F-150 XLT sport 3.5L ecoboost supercrew the other day and as I was installing my all weather mates I noticed the carpet on the drivers side was wet. We had a few days of rain so I thought maybe someone had wet shoes at the dealer. I let it dry out without a mat as I live in a dryer southern climate. Installed the mat again and checked this morning. Drivers side floor carpet is damp again. Is this a known issue? I have to tell ya that I came from an older Tundra and this is somewhat disappointing to have issues immediately. Sounds like a dealer service trip is in my future.

No. I have a supercrew xlt sport with the 302a package. The dampness is only on the drivers side front carpet.
Then most likely the windshield is leaking. Look at it and see if you notice any spots were it wasn't sealed right. For sure let your dealer know about it right away.

I vote for this as well. If it was an HVAC system issue, the passenger side would be wet. If they do swap out the windshield make sure you get OEM Ford glass put back in.
It could be a door weatherstripping issue but my first guess would be windshield/front cowl.
This is starting to not sound good. I haven't run the AC yet, just the heater in the last 2 weeks since I bought the truck. The dampness occurs closer toward the console in the flat part of the floor carpet. So farther away from door of outside edge of windshield.
This could be from a poor connection from factory at the heater core...no antifreeze smell is there?...if not, is the windshield wiper tube leaking on that side?...seen this before, not on this years model though...good luck and post results
No. We had heavy fog overnight and this morning and the carpet is wet again on the drivers side after I put my all weather mat back in once the carpet was dry. I'm now leaning toward the windshield leaking suggestion and by having the mat in it doesn't have time to dry out. Really concerned the dealer will have to replace the windshield on my brand new truck and my screw something else up in the process.

I had this issue on a 1991 Thunderbird. The carpet from front to rear would get soaked after a rain. It ended up destroying a power seat motor, the carpet and insulation, my wife's purse and anything else that we placed on the floor.
The dealer somehow put the car under a pressurized stream of water to find the leak, perhaps a car wash, IDK. Anyway, the windshield was replaced along with everything else that was ruined and all was fine after that. No issues.
