Diesel conversion?
I know I'm not exactly in my "section," but, I have a friend with a Bronco. I would like to know about the cost of, practicality, and safety of converting a 1991 4x4 Eddie Bauer with a 3" body lift into a 6.9L turbo diesel. He would be using the diesel's engine, tranny, front and rear suspension, and the front and rear axles. All of these parts would probably have originated from a F-250 or F-350.
There are really only two reasons for this conversions, one obvious, and the other like all conversions and mods. The obvious- 1. POWER. The not so obvious- 2. FUN.
