Tire fitment question

I have a quick question, looking for any help/advise. I just purchased a Rough Country 2.5" strut extension leveling kit for my 2005 F150 4x4. According to Rough Country, w/the leveling kit, I can fit 295/70R18 tires w/my stock 18" wheels. I came across a killer deal on a set of 35x12.5r18 tires. I don't think they will fit, w/out rubbing, with just the leveling kit, or so I have been told. I have a buddy w/a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 that has a 2" leveling kit and he was able to fit a set of 35x12.5r20's on his truck with a set of 1/2" wheel spacers. My question is, can I fit the 35/12.5r18's on my truck with a set of wheel spacers? Fit with little to no rubbing? If so, what size spacers would I need? Any advise or input would be appreciated!

welcome to FTE.
a 295/70R18 converts to a 35X11.61 tire.
it should fit with no problems. at most you may have to trim a little bit off the front bumper for turn clearance.

as far as running wheel spacers goes, we normally do not recommend them for on road use because they change the steering geometry, and they are also dangerous when the studs snap or the bolt holes in the rim wallow out due to the lug nuts loosening
