I have a 1994 F-150 extended cab 4x2 with the 5.0 V8. I was looking into swaybar kits for it and found that there are a lot available. This is the dilemma - All the kits I have come across state that the truck MUST have a factory front swaybar already installed, which of course, mine does not. I looked at my Chiltons and on the diagram there appears to be some kind of tab with the proper bolt hole provisioning that extends from the bottom of the spring perch (I think). I need some help and advice.
1) Is there a company that makes a complete front swaybar kit for F-150s that can install on trucks that did not have a factory swaybar, or 2) is there a way to retrofit the needed factory mounting equipment from another truck to allow me to install one? I really appreciate any help I can get with this because it is driving me nuts. Thanks in advance.
No, no, and no!! You will just have to get under the truck and actually get a lil bit of dirt on your back....start drilling and bolting! Hey...might be fun
I have one from my 93 f-150 that i took off b/c it hindered my off-road ability...I will give it to you and the mounting hardware if you want!
Why do you want one if it didn't come with it?? (silly me right?)

You need the spring perches as well as the end links. The perches are different on the sway-bar equipped trucks. You have to pull the front springs to get at them, it's an easy job, though. Best source is a junk yard.
If I went to a junkyard and gathered the parts... (Just to make sure) I Would need a spring compressor to get the perch out, right? Thanks guys. BTW My name is Jason also.
