Yes sir!! hopefully get to detail the wife's Excursion for her this weekend. it needs a good was and wax job. If I have time or feel like it I might do my Expedition as well.
Just found a 2004 Excursion w/ 6.0 with 365,00 miles for $6000. I'm thinking what ever was going to break has done so already. What should I look for if I consider going look at it?
See if it's been studded. You would hope so at that point. Make sure it's not blowing coolant out of the degas bottle on top of the engine. Sure sign that its got a blown head gasket!
yeah that is what I was thinking too but just worried they might have put some block sealer in it to stop it from doing that and now they are just trying to get rid of it which is why the are only asking 6000 for it.
I don't know if that block sealer would help. The EGR cooler can also cause problems. And the oil cooler. I had the EGR removed on mine, and had a new oil cooler put on, when I redid the top end.
I swayed her from it.. lol I also found a 4x4 w/ the V10 also. we have the V10 in hers right now so if it is still there in February we will pick it up.
