hey i called a local muffler shop by me and they said that for the newer f-150 they donot do true dual exhaust. I mean single pipes form each header. They said they do it after the cat. Now i want to know if anyone has heard this. Will it give me the same sound and power? Tyhey also said this is the only way they can do it without voiding my warranty. any input

They are full of themselves. The cats gotta stay in place but you can true dual it from just after the cats and out the back. If they are telling you that maybe they misunderstood what you asked of them or didn't feel like doing the extra work. You could even go as far as to changing out the stock cats for a couple high flow cats. As far as voiding your warranty this will not happen since there is a law against voiding a warranty on a vehicle due to adding aftermarket parts but to be sure read your warranty book for what is not covered and it will tell you what would void your warranty

What do they care about your warranty anyways. Unless you have emission laws there in FL. Don't have 'em here in NE. I've gotta buddy who trades for new F150's every year and the first thing he does is removes all the stock exhaust and has just pipes from his cat converter to the bumper.
