When I turn the a/c or fan on, air only come out the vents atop the dash board.
It worked perfectly before today and I've never had a problem before.
Any idea(s) what to look for?

Look for a vacuum line for the climate control system that came off or perhaps the damper door is binding up, or the damper door vacuum motor is bad. The vacuum line connects to the manifold at the back of the upper manifold, assuming you have a 4.0.

I had this exact problem with my 3.0, and here is my solution:
-Pull off the rear engine cover (the one that goes into the passenger compartment)
-Find the vacuum tree coming out of the rear of the intake manifold
-You will see that there is at least one vacuum line off, cut about an inch off the end if it appears worn, repeat for any other lines off the tree
-Replace all of the vacuum lines that have fallen off
-If there is a fitting and there are no more hoses to reattach, slap a vacuum cap on it
-If you have problems with any of them staying on, use zip ties
-Replace rear engine cover (this is the hard part of the job)
-Test a/c, test drive van (as it should run better now)
-Enjoy

I fixed it today. There was a broken vacuum line ( above engine oil filler neck ). Spliced it back together and everything's now working.
On side note, I also had a rough idle which was also fixed.
