It has been a while but I have something to report. Thanks to my good friend Joe from St Louis I now have my front frame rails boxed on my 57 F100. I have also stripped the old axle, steering, springs and hangers.
Fenders, I guess that means I have officially gone to the Darkside. How ironic Darkman is on the Darkside. LOL Oh well it could be worse. I did not remove my rear or front engine support as I will be putting a 312 Y from a Fairlane back in. I plan to have the Fatman IFS kit here in January when Joe will return and weld it in. I have all the Mustang IFS parts and will be ready to install them after the crossmember is welded in. I'll try to post some pics if I can figure out how.
Looking good( I know your're thinking "who's this guy"?). Check my users gallery to insert pics(i have a step by step photo instructions) I want to see your project! George don't shoot me but I kind of like this person's thinking of building trucks! -4speed
I'm still looking for a scoop. Got one in your junk draw that is in your way? LOL I have a friend looking for one this summer. He usually finds a few.
Thanks 4speed,
I'll try to get pics posted early next week. I do have a few from last year in the my gallery. You have the only automatic I've seen. Very nice looking. Mine is fairly solid but not pretty yet. It looks real strange with the cab and front off and the bed still on. The bed will be off soon and then it will be really naked.
