Your cab has the fenders used on some F350s, and all F500/600 trucks, the large wheel opening style. Decent ones are available if you look hard enough - just make sure you get the 57/58 style unless you want to change the grill and valence panel to the 59/60 style also.
bigwin56f100 I seen that fender on eBay would any of you guys actually pay that for a fender? That's like way more money than I can spend on one fender. I'd like to pickup a parts truck for that kinda money.
Well I have some disappointing news to share I opened up the doors to the cab and it's a 1957 F600 not an F700. I have a line on some really good parts I won't share what they are till the deal is closed. Plus I spied a super duty from the road the other day so I'll be working on getting in contact with the owner of that truck and seeing if he will be willing to let that truck move onto a new home. Here are some pics from the doors being opened.
We'll I have news that I'm sure many will find disappointing. I just bought 2 4 door diesel ford trucks. So my 57 project is going on the back burner and in fact I'd be willing to sell my glass all of that is good and any other pieces "gauges, bench seat, doors, hood, any section of cab that perhaps is crunched on your fridge".
I might have a set of f600 fenders off a a 57 as long as you are in no hurry. No rust thru but rolled in an inch or so over the wheels.
I'm not in a hurry but I would be interested in your fenders. I think this truck needs to come together on the back burner since parts availability is well just nothing like that of other Ford trucks I've put together before.
