An auto-eject, waterproof thermostat? Do you have to leave your hood open or does 'eject' mean it just falls on the ground?

The 20A 120v Auto-Eject Receptacle provides power to the block heater via the waterproof thermostat as well as a small 4A battery conditioner. The waterproof thermostat is plugged in-line for the block heater only and has an adjustable temperature dial (set at about 32-35 degrees) that will turn-on block heater when temp drops...otherwise the battery maintainer operates independently (not overusing and running up electric bill). The small battery maintainer simply keeps batteries topped off an allows for charging of flashlights and other onboard rechargeable items. Why Auto-Eject...I can't stand the unfinished look of the a plug hanging from bumper and I have been a firefighter for over 30 years and it's what I am used too...forget to unplug...no worries...it does it for ya!

Thanks for reading if you would like more detailed information let me know...

The Kussmaul Auto-Eject is simply wired to the 12v solenoid (pos. & neg.) when you activate the starter the momentary current that is sent to the starter activates a built in solenoid in the Auto-Eject Receptacle that ejects the plug out from the receptacle. Sounds complicated but very easy to install.
