I keep breaking door handle

I came home from s

swappin mtm 88178m. I was checking the cable for binding and seemed to find the bind in this pivot area? I recall swappin is part out from a JY piece. How can i permanently fix this?

Go to the junkyard and collect all the parts needed to put the solid rod system from an '87-91 truck in it.

Now i am intrigued. How hard is it to adapt to a 92+ door?

Do you have a picture of the linkages or breakdown diagram

The cable is fine. The pin has worn it self into the door handle piece. So when you actually pull up on it it actually falls into the groove ot made then with extra force ot jumps the ridge and opens the door. The problem is after a couple of times it breaks the handle

Take it apart and use the magic blue arc to build up the metal in that area. Should be good as new then. If you don't have a welder than it shouldn't cost much to have it done at a shop.

check the door alignment. is the door dropping when you open it? is the striker bolt worn? are the hing pins worn? if the hinge pins are worn out it will cause undo stress on these smaller parts like the cable and inside handle.
