diesel problems
I just got two trucks one 1986 f-250 diesel and a 1984 f-250 diesel. The 86 needed a head gasket and the guy took the motor out but it didn't get covered well and is seized.The 84 runs and moves and is in decent condition except it smokes bad,when it sits there ideling white smoke poors out of it. The guy I got it from seems to think it is the injector pump.The pump went bad on my dads 85 f-350 and it smoked like this but it ran real rough. This truck dosen't run that rough. Do you think it could be the injector pump. If the injector pump was out of time would it make it smoke this bad with out running that rough. I hope its not a bad head gasket or head.
