I am wondering how "desirable" the big window version of these trucks are.
I have never seen one in person and looking only at photos it seems the side profile of the rear cab isn't as "nice" as the rounded version of the small window. Looks kind of squared off a bit to me. Is this as evident in person or just what the photos make it look?
Is there any idea how many sort bed - big windows were made?
Are there any leak/rust issues because of the way the window & trim piece fits?
I owned a BBW Uni. I like the look of the BBW. I don't see where you would have any leaks with the BBW. I don't believe there is any production numbers on the Uni's with or without the BBW.
I bought the truck and it's on it's way to me now via auto transporter.
'63 Short Bed, Custom Cab, Big Window complete with all the bright trim and the trim strip down both sides. 351 Windsor and Auto installed with a sub framed front end.
I did have it inspected by a hot rod shop. Zero rust. The guy told me it was the nicest one he's seen in a long time.
Can't wait to finally see this in person. Fingers crossed.
