shock recommendations
I previously had a 2008 f-350 V-10 DRW CC LB 17 rims with 62K miles on the truck which had the stock shocks replaced with stock shocks before I bought it and I found the stock shocks to be fine for that f-350.
Before that I had a 2005 f-250 SRW 5.4 CC SB 18 rims with 90K miles on the truck. I switched the stock worn shocks to rancho 90000's and while it did improve....I had the 9000's on max frim all the time all the way around. I found the ride to be improved, but not as good as the above mentioned f-350.
I would classify the bouncyness of the f-450 the same as the above mentioned f-250 and am wondering if there is a stiffer shock out there that I should try....or even a double shock kit. I have a welder so adding a second shock set to the rear looks pretty easy....the front however is going to need an afer market kit....not a whole lot of room to play with.
so what are the shco recomendations for a "firm" and "stiff" ride.
