Dies at start

Not a truck, but my '90 escort dies when you open the throttle. Tired of my daughter complaining. Any Help?

Dies at start

Sounds like you are saying it hesitates real bad on takeoff..when letting out the clutch ? If so, tune up as needed with plugs,wires, cap, rotor,fuel filter,etc. If you did all that, clean the throttle body and air bypass valve with air intake cleaner(which also needs to be done at given times).
