I have a cast iron intake that's been sitting for about 22 years or so, with the number ECZ-9425-B cast into it. It's a 4-bbl square-bore setup, and according to everywhere I have looked it's for Y-blocks. My question is, I could sell it for $50 now (and I'll never use it, so it's no loss to me- run a 351) but is this a reasonable price or am I being suckered? If it's in good shape, you'll easily get 50 bucks for it !
I've seen them go on Ebay for upwards of a hundred or more, and others go for less.
I bought the very same intake a long time ago on Ebay for 80 bucks. In fact, it was my very first purchase on Ebay.
That should give you some idea.
That is the best" factory " intake you can get for a y-block. Later!
Thanks for the info; what is the minimum you would consider, if you were selling one of these, for one with only light cosmetic rust (no pitting anywhere)?
