Hi,
I've got an 05 mopar GC, and it has a plastic shield under a lot of the engine.
Unfortunately, for a lot of repairs, you have to remove it.
It's fastened with plastic 'Christmas Tree' fasteners, which are apparently availbale at some auto stores.
What's the best way to get the bleeping things out? I can imagine a lot of tugging and twisting, and I'm hoping that there's a better way. I'll gladly buy a sack of new ones, so saving the old ones is not essential.
The ones on our Lexus just pull out. They don't last forever. You may find auto parts stores have a variety, some with a screw head. Try to match size as they must fit right or they will fall out, and you don't want that belly pan wadded up under your catylitic converter.
