Fog/driving light replacement??

Another tip. If you do replace the fog lights, no matter what your source, before you install the new ones, look up headlight/fog light vinyl protective film. Look for something thicker than 10 mil. and apply them to the fog lamp lenses before you install the new lamps. It will protect the lenses to a good extent.
The placement of our fog lamps recessed deep within the bumper cover I believe has a funneling affect directing more small pebbles and stones at the lenses rather than allowing them a glancing blow if the lenses were flush with the front of the bumper. The thin lenses don't help either.
However, a good vinyl protective overlay will soften the impact of future "projectiles"
