Which length drive belt?
Hi all, long time since I have posted last. My '01 F270, 7.3L, single alternator, AC, needs a new drive belt. I looked at Rockauto but there were two lenghts. Can anyone tell me the correct belt to order. My F250 is just shy of 242,000 miles and still running strong. I am in the process of doing maintenence and up keep on my great Ford P/U. Single Alternator is the shorter group. 121 7/8 is if you have AIH, EBPV and Block Heater. If it came factory without that, I believe it had to be ordered that way, then you need the 122 3/4 belt. Most all of them have the block heater. You can tell by crawling up under you truck, look near the oil filter and look for the orange (sometimes other colors if replaced or oil stained) cord sticking out near it. If you already know this then apologies.
