Would anyone have a part # for the cap

Just left Napa and advanced , nothing on help rack. Might have to go to the junk yard...

um... Did you look in the HELP book and order something?
They cant possible stock everything in those books

Just a QUICK search comes up with a Dorman 42045

That is that brake master cap. Going to stop at the junk yard this week. Can't find one with out buying the whole thing

Last I knew the 85s did not have a plastic screw on cap for the brake master cylinder.

That cap is for a 85 CLUTCH master cylinder

^^^^ My '85 IDI has the all steel brake M/C with the reservoirs built in, and the steel lid with the bail. I think Brad's right, looking at a pic of that Dorman cap.

OP asked for CLUTCH master cylinder cap.

E3TZ-7A543-A = Same clutch master cylinder (cap not furnished separately): 1983 F250/350 6.9L & 7.5L; 1984/87 F150/350 & Bronco (ALL I-6 & V8).

Cap is no place to be found.. Looks like a rag and a zip tie will get me threw till junk yard will get something in. Might also look threw my lmc book

Found my old one in the basement. Now I'm wondering about that Dorman part. It looks like a 1/4-turn "bayonet" securement. The one from my '85 IDI is threaded. Which way is yours?
