got a few questions!!
Hi guys, I'm going to start gathering parts for the engine build on my 1990 Bronco (5.8L) HO. I just need to know a few things first so i buy the right parts.
My first question is, does my truck use a hydraulic cam?
Secondly, what is the ratio of the stock rocker arms?
Third, does my truck use a TFI ignition system?
Fourth, what is the stock timing set at?
This may sound dumb, what are push rods and what do they do?

got a few questions!!
yes your cam is hydrylic lifters
i believe the rocker ratio is 1.6 to 1
yes it is tfi 4
10 degrees before top dead center
your push rod transfer the lift of the cam lobes to the rocker arm which in turn opens and closes the valves.
