I have a '88 f-150 and i have a good set of 235/75/r15's that i don't want to replace. So i know the inside diameter is 15 but how wide?
Also what do you all think of The American racing AR-767? They're the all black ones. And brand new they're only 35 bucks a piece brand new, so being as cheap as I am I am looking for used ones on e-bay and local want ads.
metric sizes have always confused me but i think 15x8's are what you need to run. im not sure though so you might want to see what someone else has to say.
While we are in the same thread is it possible to go with a P215 65R 15 or a P225 60R15 on the stock wagon wheels with the chrome rings? I am getting ready to buy tires and I would like the wider ones.
I personally like the 8" width. If you decide to stay with the 235 75 x 15's they will work fine, but it also gives you the option to go as wide as 10" wide tires.
If your rims are stock, you can verify the size on the driver door, where the door hits the striker!
My 89 came with 15x7 rims with stock P235/75/15 tires. You should be good to go! Right now, the 30x9.5 do fine but with a little extra bounce @ 42psi! Switching to P245/70/15 next time!
