Larry, what makes that an odd statement is it's the same color combo as the one my dad used to have way back when. ...but like I said, his was a bucket seat, floor shift car. I remember looking at the car on CL a while back. I got the car with an open title with the name Ken White.
Jeff. We have the parade on Saturday. I'll be busy with the monster truck pretty much all day. Sunday will be kinda free. (as free as I get, anyway)

speaking of copper color ...i like this
i just sold that 77 gt i had.. all that made it a gt was the stripes and dash.. was not even a bucket seat car.. the 69 ranch i had in Louisianan was a real GTA car. it had the buckets, stripes, suspension..and of course the 428... but i sold it before the paint was even dry..but my 70 ranch gt was cool too

The last of the VIN is H156317.
I sold it Feb of 2011.
I sold it to Josh Anderson of Willard MO.
If it is the same car, someone has or had a lot of parts for that car. You might want to try to chase the prior owners. I had the "hockey stick" stainless for the bed tops and corners in very nice condition, the inner tailgate panel, and new carpet. If those parts have not been installed, I haven't seen them advertised on CL, so someone might have them leaning in a corner.

Evening All!
Larry. YEP! It's your car. How funny. Small world, huh? I'm gonna concentrate on getting road worthy first, then see about making it pretty.
14 hours in the shop today. I'm exhausted! I'm putting the new 460 together for the F-350. The owner got all new stuff for it. (timing chain, water pump, oil pump, etc.) I got the timing cover off only to find some jack hole broke one of the water pump bolts off in the block. That wasn't bad enough, but he tried and failed to drill it out 3 times! I welded the hole shut, then used the gasket to locate the new hole. Then I drilled it out and put a healey coil in it. By shear dumb luck, it worked. I got the top end together, but I still have to do the oil pump, flush the pick up, and put the oil pan back on. Then I can stab it back in the truck. It's gonna be another long day. It has to be running tomorrow night.

I thought it was the same car.
Some history. I bought the car from a guy in St Louis I knew. He had bought it from a guy in Tulsa. The guy in Tulsa was a weekend stock car racer and used the ranchero to pull his stock car trailer. It had a switch under the dash to turn on a big electric fan to help cool it while in line for the pit area. It had a somewhat thumper cam and ran really well. No idea what if anything had been done beside the cam. It had a pretty heavy trailer hitch and air shocks. The trans shifted very solid and was suppose to have had a shift kit installed.
If I remember right it may have has different wheels front and rear, maybe 14inch on one end and 15's on the other.
The St Louis guy drove it back to St Louis from Tulsa when he bought it and kept it for about a year and never drove it. I ended up buying it after he said he needed money and offered to sell it. I had it a couple years and had picked up some parts for it and the kid in Willard found out I had it and wanted it so ended up selling it to him.
Yes it is a small world. I had seen the car a few times in Willard and saw it on CL but hadn't seen it in quite a while. You seldom see one anymore. Glad you have it.
