ARGH! 8.8-inch fill plug stuck! Any thoughts?

ARGH! 8.8-inch fill plug stuck! Any thoughts?
Hey guys. While going over all of the maintenance issues on my used (new to me) E-150, i noticed that the fill plug on the 8.8" rear is stuck.
I've tried lots of PB Blaster and tapping the plug with a small ball pein. No luck.
I tried a long handled breaker bar, but stopped when i noticed the the square-drive-hole in the plug was starting to deform a little.
Any thoughts on getting this dadburn thing out? Torch? Impact driver? Or take it to the Ford dealer and let them deal with it?
