F350 Starter
The starter on my 04 F350 with a 5.4L went out on me, and in the process of removing it the upper and lower bolts broke off in the bell housing. I was able with the aid of heat to get the lower bolt out. The upper one just broke off shorter on my attempted extraction of it with the easy out. My question is if I can't get whats left of the upper bolt out what will the concequence be if I only run with the middle and lower bolts to hold the starter in?

Who knows? The two remaining bolts might fail sooner, or the bolt hole tabs might break off or bend enough so the starter eventually doesn't properly engage.
Can you get a reverse drill bit on the remainder of the bolt?
