changing Rotors 2000 Ranger
HELP...
I am trying to remove the rotors from my 2000 Ranger and i am having trouble. The calipers in the truck are different than any calipers i have worked with. The caliper slides off of a mounted gaurd or something and that is where the break pads are as well. But, i am wondering if i need to remove the gaurd (rest of the caliper mount) which is held on by two bolts on the inner side of the brakes. I think i do need to remove it, however, those bolts are so stuck on there that i cannot remove the guard..i have tried special sprays to loosen the corroded bolts with no luck at all...if you have any advise please email me at dano8514(No Email Addresses In Posts!)...i have been pulling out my hair for i long time now.
