Do you have power at the plug on truck for markers?

So, you have not verified power to the back of the truck?

Yes, there is power. The trailer brake lights and turn signals work.

I understand that. I mean did you verify power at the pin on the truck for the markers. That is the first step in determining whether that problem is truck or trailer based.

Oh, my mistake. I have not tested the pin(s). That is priority first thing in morning. I appreciate each of your information and time. I will submit my findings tomorrow.

I checked pins on truck today and found no power for running lights.

Now to find the problem. I hate chasing wiring. First check the fuses. Get owners manual out and find appropriate fuse. Check both sides of fuse with tester to be sure fuse doesn't have a hidden blow.

I pulled all trailering associated fuses and found none blown. However, I did not check with tester.

I've seen fuses that look good. But put a load on it and it fails.

I also always use a my meter to check fuses. If the fuses are good, check the connections on the back side of the seven pin on the truck. Wire breaks are less common unless someone has been missing with them.

I've had corn stalks pull the wires under the truck.
