I understand that. I mean did you verify power at the pin on the truck for the markers. That is the first step in determining whether that problem is truck or trailer based.
There could be a wire pulled off the plug or,somewhere on the truck, this is what we are wondering.
Oh, my mistake. I have not tested the pin(s). That is priority first thing in morning. I appreciate each of your information and time. I will submit my findings tomorrow.
I have a 2011 F150 and pull utility trailer. I just installed LED lights with complete new wiring. Brake lights, turn signals and flashers work, but running/tail lights do not. I checked fuses and made sure connectors are clean. No success. Any ideas?
I checked pins on truck today and found no power for running lights.
Now to find the problem. I hate chasing wiring. First check the fuses. Get owners manual out and find appropriate fuse. Check both sides of fuse with tester to be sure fuse doesn't have a hidden blow.
I also always use a my meter to check fuses. If the fuses are good, check the connections on the back side of the seven pin on the truck. Wire breaks are less common unless someone has been missing with them.
