So I've been chasing a problem in my 07 6.0 for about 6 months now I had just changed the oil cooler and a week later was driving home and she quit a mile from my house I have since then changed the cmp sensor the alternator 3 injectors all the o-rings in the nipples of my oil rail both down tubes in the oil rail and the IPR valve most resently and last night I hooked it up to me auto engenuity scanner and the IPR valve is still not closing it stay at 14.84% the whole time I'm cranking. The only code I'm running is cmp sensor low a cuircut or something like that I can't remember the number... Any help would be greatly appreciated

What is your ICP whilst cranking?
Did you try to start it with the ICP unplugged? Will be on the passenger side valve cover towards the front.
My icp never got over 220 psi and yes I did it didn't help at all
Should go into default mode with ICP unplugged, I wonder if you have a debris build up on the IPR screen, in light of the fact the oil cooler was done recently.

There was a little bit of debris in there when I pulled the old one out but nothing alarming

Starting to wonder if you have an issue with the harness or pigtail to the IPR, it's only reading atmospheric at that point.
Or perhaps the IPR inself is bad, even though new. Is it aftermarket or OEM?
I would be inclined to say you have a leak on the high pressure side of things but then your IPR would be calling for 85% IIRC.
Some one please correct me if I'm wrong, but IIRC IPR% is a desired/commanded value not an actual value. If you don't get sync from the CMP sensor you won't get a signal from the FICM to "fire" the injectors. I don't know exactly what that command to the PCM includes but I'm sure HPO is involved since they're fuel at the injector 100% of the time.

It's aftermarket... It's an alliant with an edge filter.. But that's the only reason I haven't tried testing the hpo system because it's not closing all the way

I had heard something about that but I didn't know if it would keep my IPR from working but maybe that's where it kills your motor at
