Front caliper recommendations

Hi, 01 F350 4X4 Superduty. I've been in a losing battle with the front caliper's sticking. Any brand that usually works better than others? Which ones to stay away from? I did a search which got to involved with other issues.

you've gone through multiple calipers which were sticking?

Really points to something else, like maybe the rubber line to the caliper, or maybe the master cylinder or ABS system.

Nope, I just banged the caliper's back and forth, until they released, while opening the bleeder, when compressing. Then bled as normal. Been on the truck 4 or 5 years.

So what exactly is the issue. They bled fine and released fine? Am I understanding that correctly? Unfortunately changing superduty calipers every 5 years isn't terribly rare. I don't use anything but Ford products for brakes.

could be a collapsed line.. the lines have an inner and outer.. you can not see the collapse ...

forcing the piston back in will expand the inner hose .. so it works again...
temporary .

I understand how a hose can do the one way valve thing. I have all 5 new hoses i will install. I'll get it jacked up and confirm either hose and or caliper. I'll see what a OEM caliper goes for, also.

Are your slide pins freezing? Do you have the newer slide pin kit? What kind of grease is being used on the pins?
