Been a while since I checked in here. Please see if you find the Budd number on your 17.5. Probably on the back side along the drop center. Then I can look it up. Stu

17.5 inch wheels are usually used on mobile homes.

Agree that the tubeless 17.5" has a variety of none truck applications. But I think this one is B6C 1015A / K-H 40337. The 5 x 5.5" pattern and innie hub cap nubs leave me no other conclusion. Mrcman58 has probably looked for a number and didn't find one. That would be because K-H didn't stamp their numbers into the metal like Budd did. They put the number on a paper sticker on the inner rim base. Gone decades ago. I think all other truck type 17.5s I have record of were Budd Products. Stu

its been awhile since i spent much time on FTE its been a busy time for me lately, seems i am more busy now than before i retired, i will check the rim for what ever numbers it might have, i have had it for a long time, at one time i was going to sand blast it paint it and mount a fresher tire on it just for a display tire, but now i am thinking someone might need it to make a complete set??

I'd save the effort. I've never found an old K-H wheel that still had its sticker. Stu

Did you get this wheel from Preston?

In the early 1970's Preston and I spent several days driving thru the Central Valley stopping at Ford dealers and junkyards, among them: Romo and Pearson in Fresno, 3 Boys in Madera and Yellow Auto Parts in Avenal. Also Patchette's in Newman, McLeod in Riverbank and Patterson Ford.

Preston would buy anything, but all I bought was NOS .. In Avenal we hit the jackpot, Yellow had bought all the parts when the Ford dealer closed.

btw: There was a guy who lived in Sheep Ranch that had over 100 Studebakers, most were post war and all were rusty cobs.
