I don't have a lot of $ so Im trying to do this where I wont starve..
The best thing you can do for your ficm is check out ficmrepair.com you can either send your ficm to Ed and he'll fix it and send it back to you or he has an exchange program where he sends you a new ficm and then install it and send him yours back as a core. Also beware if you could be damaging your injectors due to low ficm voltage if you continue to drive it if you haven't already. Which is most likely why the dealer told your ficm is bad anything under 45 volts at anytime means it's toast.

They can go a little under 48 at times and still be good

that's why my post says any thing under 45 volts at any time means ficm is toast. If your ficm is going below 45 volts at any point it's time to address it.

Wow that's way low you need to quit driving it till you fix it your likely hurting your injectors. And at $200 a pop that can add up quick especially on a budget. I understand if it's your only transport and you have to get to work but you can easily end up costing yourself a lot more $$$, in that case the Ed's exchange program would be a good option. If you don't know what your doing and you try to solder it that can end up costing you your core just an FYI. I'm surprised it'll run at all with 14 volts.
