valves seals

Hey guys might b a dumb question but here we go. I'am replacing the valve seals on a 351M engine and replaced the first one and things went good went to change the second one and the valve wont release from the keeper that holds it in place tried tapping it so it might release nothing happening what does a person have to do so it will release from the keeper thanks again

Do you have the head off the engine? Sometimes you have to tap the valve with a mallet, like wood or plastic, to get it to release.

I had that problem on mine also after I waked it with the mallet it broke it free.
