Do you have scanguage or something to show FICM voltages?
ICP needs 500 just to start

System voltage? Check obvious like battery connections, three plugs on back of FICM.

Is there injector buzz KOEO before you crank?
Do you hear the HFCM running KOEO?

Would help to know what year truck is.

When you say the voltage is low, how low?
Low volts are hard on the FICM during cranking. Might want to load test both batteries as well

Replaced with two optima batteries last night only problem is the stock brackets won't fit and the cables were barely long enough

Let me rephrase the optima batteries won't fit the brackets. Hit a dang bump this morning and the truck cut off. So now I need to figure out a way to secure thes new batteries and get new ground cable and possible a new red cable for the passenger side. So the truck cut off and cut back on then I was stuck in 3rd gear it would only downshift pulled over cm checked my connection started back and ran fine. The transmission messsed up because of the battery connection or is this another issue?

I would get the correct batteries for the truck. I used to think Optima was a great brand, after 4 failed Optimas in 4 years (2 different cars) I will never buy another one again. If you set on a more expensive battery, look at the AGM batteries.

They do have a warranty so I think I will keep them for now at least unless I can't find a way to keep them secured. Do you think my transmission is ok? After it cut back on it got stuck would only downshift but after I turned it off and back on it worked just fine

Yeah mine were under warranty as well, still cost to replace them.
Maybe look for places to hook a ratchet strap and secure it down. If you are creative, you can build new bolt down blocks to replace the factory battery hold downs.

I doubt you tranny is messed up, but try to get the issue corrected before anything worse happens.

Optima's are horrible. Get an Advance Auto AGM. Use code TRT30 for a 30% discount ($50) and buy on line, do in store pick up and save the apsrin for another day.
