dana 60 gears?
i have heard you cant fit 4.1 gears or higher in a dana 60 that was made with 3.56 gears or smaller.but what can i go to my truck has stock 3.73 gears.what gears can i go to i want at least 4.56 or higher do i nead a whole new axle?

My front D60 had 3.55s with an open carrier. I recently regeared it to 4.88s reusing the carrier. I believe they call it the "thick gears" that can run with the shorter ratio carriers. Verify this with a gear company, but that is what I did.
