So I'm trying to swap over to super duty valve cover gaskets and I cut one wire at. Time and did my splices was careful didn't think I messed up and now truck won't start won't even try to fire.
As I'm sure you know the OBS plug is laid out as GP-I-C-I-GP, the
superduty plug is laid out GP-GP-I-I-C-I-I-GP-GP. If you wired the superduty plug like the OBS plug you can see the problem.
thats the keep alive memory(kam) code, did you disconnect your batteries? if yes thats more than likely where the code came from. did you use butt connectors or solder the wires? just a little more info to get out of you... truck turns over but doesnt fire correct? is it cranking really slow/normal? you did reconnect the glowplug and injector connectors right? all of the connectors to the VC gaskets are plugged in and locked? double check your work thoroughly. not trying to put you down or sound mean its just easy to forget the simple things.
I was aware of the differences between the obs and superduty wiring and swapped it. The only thing I did do was take the 2 commons on the obs and tied them to the 1 common on the superduty
My truck has electric fuel and the ipr harness is what's left of the due bowl wiring harness and the clip that holds it together broke so I guess I bumped it and unplugged it
