Swapping 7.3L into 2006 F-250

Has anyone tried doing a 7.3L swap into a 5.4L 2005+ Super Duty? My '06 is at about 250,000 KM, and while it runs well now, I know it's in the end of it's life. But the rest of the truck is rock solid, and the only complaint I have with it is that it's a little down on grunt.

Would I be able to find an earlier Super Duty with a 7.3L and just swap over the whole drivetrain, computer, cluster, ect? Or is it going to be a more involved swap than that?

If it were a 2004 or older Super Duty, I would say it's a direct bolt-in swap provided you have a donor truck to work with of identical cab/box/drivetrain configuration. Also provided you swap EVERYTHING over (fuel tank, lines, wiring harnesses, instrument cluster itself along with the drivetrain). On a 2005+ model year truck however, you will likely encounter issues due to suspension, driveline and instrumentation updates that took place.
