Just the other day I starting feeling a weird wobble when I'm sitting still with my foot on the brake (like at a stop light). It's hard to describe, just a slight vibration, at first I turned the radio down figuring that was the cause. I don't feel it at all when cruising on the highway, and I have no idiot lights going off so I assume there are no codes in the computer.
I checked the plugs thinking maybe a wire was a little loose but they were all tight. I also checked all the fluids.
My next guess would be to start checking accessories, you think and alternator that was dying could cause this? Or perhaps a bad injector?
Any ideas?? Truck info - 95 F150 5.0/AODE with 4WD
COUPLE OF THOUGHTS, SINCE NO ONE ELSE HAS OFFERED ANY. 1. MAYBE A BROKEN OR BADLY WORN MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION MOUNT? DOES IT STILL DO THE SAME THING IN NEUTRAL? HOW ABOUT REVERSE? 2. POSSIBLY A POWER STEERING CHECK VALVE CHATTERING? DOES IT CHANGE IF YOU TURN THE STEERING WHEEL? GOOD LUCK. MIKE861943
could be your harmonic balancer is a little off, mine is on my truck and at about 1600rpm's my truck shakes pretty dern bad. but you dont really notice it at idle.
Guess this falls under the always check the obvious first category. After I refueled this problem basically went away. I'm assuming I got some bad gas from where ever I filled up the time before last. I put in some fuel injector cleaner for good measure and all seems well now. Bad Gas Station
