well i went and did it, i popped the big one. i asked and she said yes. aint love grand. now i am looking for an old mustang for her so she wil have a good car that i can work on. but anyways just thought i would let yall in on it.

PS: Where do you find wholehearted women nowadays? I've traveled all over the Southeast, live in Atlanta, go to school in Charleston, and the ones I know are few and far in between. I heard Texas is a great place to look.........

Congratulations Chris: I have been happily married for 24 years so I wish you all of the best in your new union. Treat her with love, kindness, and respect, so you will never go wrong. And don't buy HER any presents that plug in, buy them for the household. Learn to cook and share the chores. These are some of the paths to a lasting relationship. Good Luck man....

but here is some good advise:
when you might not agree with what she is saying but have to respond with something.......try this "You might be right dear"
that one line has probably saved many men, and of course you havent commited yourself......

Congrats, I just got hitched in July to my best friend. I've known her for 15 years (only occasonally losing touch as we each moved around the country) but we only started dating 2 years ago. First marraige for both of us.

My one-year anniversary is a month away, and it has been great! Remember, it's the little things that mean the most. When she says I love you, and you say I love you too, doesn't mean as much as you saying it first and for no reason.
The little things you do for each other and with each other will keep you closer than anything, and mean the most.

Congrats and much happiness. A comic once described marriage as the triumph of habit over hate, but that's not true. I found mine in Texas, married her in Ohio and we lived in 7 other states - been back in Texas a long time now and will be togather 43 years in January.
