If you are talking about mine, I deliberately selected a picture my brother had just sent me of his car. I knew was oversize to test if the forum would resize it automatically. It did in my browser. Have you tried restarting your computer? The problematic software version may be in your cache, and your computer hasn't refreshed the page. If restarting doesn't help you might try clearing the cache. (testing smilies)

I'd guess it's something to do with your computer/whatever else you're using. It could be anything from the Internet security to a dumb setting that changed unknowingly.
