Ford Tool Part Numbers
I am specificlly looking for the Ford PN T65-6701-A. The tool used for the installation of the one piece rear main seal on V-8's.
I Googled a basic search, but located the tools for the 2 piece installation kit only. I may have the wrong PN. I got the number from the Chilton's 91'-95 Truck/Van Repair manual.
Anyone tell me the PN from their Haynes? This PN I have may no longer be any good.

Ford Tool Part Numbers
My 95 Ford manual list part #T89T-6701-AH Rear Oil Seal Replacer. I havn't had any problems tapping in the seal with a hammer.
I found the tool as part of a set for $100.

No wonder, Chilton's is no longer the leader in repair manuals! Haynes must've hired their editor and proof reader. One less letter can throw off the entire part and makes us all look like fools.
I'll be getting ahold of them soon. Their little disclaimer about typographical errors, just lost them a few future customers!
