Hi guys, I have a 1990 Ford Bronco. It has the 351W (5.8L) engine. I finally decided that I want to convert my truck form standard speed density, to Mass air flow (MAF). I need to know what parts are required when doing this, also I would like to know how hard of a swap this is to do, and what exactly is invloved. Oh, if any special tools will be needed I would also appreciate it if someone could list those. Thanks a bunch for all your help!!
Do you have an E40d Tranny. I do and I have been unable to find a conversion for it. They make it for the manual and aod but not the e40d. So if you find something that works I am all ears. I have posted this before and haven't got a winner yet.
Thats installation instructions for a conversion kit for a lightning truck. It *adds* a computer to the truck. Mustang computer controls the engine, and the stock computer controls the E40d tranny.
I don't know if it's an exact match for what you need. But they should be able to tell you how to get it to work.
