Hi All, been lurking for a while, decided to join up as I see some people I know on this board. Thought I would share some recent projects.
Just bought a 2003 7.3 EB. 140K miles, Super clean and extremely well maintained. 3" lift. This replaced my F250 7.3 Supercab.
Just did the following items to the X.
2005-07 Front End
2015 Rear Bumper
6637 AF
6.0 Trans Cooler.
Complete vehicle fluid change, EVERYTHING!
All new hoses, belt and WP.
TS 6 position switch
Removed foil from CAC pipe and replaced boots.
Have it the box MBRP 4" getting installed Thursday.
New degass bottle coming.
Weathertech mats.
HID lights
Also installing a 6.2 Android radio as soon as it gets here.
Though the fluids, WP, belt and hoses were all in good shape and condition I wanted to start with a complete new baseline.
Just got to get that turbo whistle back, Going to do a WW.
-Consider Gearhead for your tuning needs. I run Matt's tunes on both my 7.3 and 6.0 Excursions and they're both powerful yet efficient.
-Consider the billet replacement wheel from Riffraff. I've ridden in a truck with one of them installed and it put a huge smile on my face. Egts were down and the truck ran and took off so much better. I currently run riffraff's billet replacement wheel on my 6.0, but am considering one for the 38R on my 7.3.
Thanks. 6.2 Screen, Quad core, 4.4 Kit Kat, Double Din with 16GB memory. Still have CD's and DVDs and want to use them. Got the elm327 unit to run Torque as well. Here's the link to the unit.
