Stupid question about mud flaps

Well, I ended up trading my truck for a new one from a different dealer then I have bought the last two trucks from (they went out of business). The new truck came with flaps already installed by the dealer for a little free advertising, but they look good. Big flat flaps.
I joke with people that I needed mud flaps and it was just easier to trade trucks for one that came with them already, lol.
