A couple of hours to kill, then I'll be smelling Cherry burning in the smoker for a few hours (about 6) and spending the day outside. Need to clean the inside of the truck since I've had Rocky in there a few times on my short trips around town.

Don't need a brush hog, but I sure could use some extra hands on some rakes. I didn't get flooded out with rain, but with pine straw. Took an hour and swept off the deck last night. Looks like I need a build a fire and burn some of the pine straw and leaves that came down. Really wish there was some place i could just take it too, would take less time than trying to burn it all.

Still it will give me a reason to sit out side and drink beer in the sun this weekend.

I'm with you on getting outside and in the sun finally. You need a sweeper attachment for your riding mower, if you have a rider. I would with a yard that size.
A beer in the cup holder, and ride around and sweep it up

No landfill close by?
We can dump grass, leaves and straw free. Then in the spring go and get it back in the form of compost for free.

No everyone in the neighborhood keeps telling me they burn all the stuff, but that's a lot of burning. I have piles as tall as myself of pine straw. If I had the time I'd try to sell it or something, but that takes a lot of time.

Is this 5 acres for the new place, in NC? Well if you don't have a Brush Hog, hopefully you have something bigger than a push mower?

Well looks like Sunday is going to be a burn day, as long as the weather holds. Just sit on the tailgate of my and strum the guitar while the leaves burn away. Doesn't sound like a bad way to spend a day. m Just have to decide what to cook, Think ribs sound good. I've still got some of the hickory wood left over from the last smoke out.

So since my birthday is Sunday I stopped by the store to pick up a few drinks, saw these and decided to give them a try...

They aren't to bad, like a really weak mixed jack and coke. I'll stick to my hard apple cider.
