I have a 2011 f350, and just put on 4 new BFG All Terrain tires. Together with the factory aluminum wheels, I now probably have something north of $2500 hanging on the outside of my truck, for the taking. So I went down to the local Canadian Tire, who sold me a set of McGard wheel locks for 20-odd bucks. Got home and took a careful look, and see they're the acorn-shaped lugs, with a rounded end, while my wheel lugs are the type with the attached rotating washer with a flat side against the wheel. So got on the McGard website, and see that they have, in little letters at the bottom, "for after-market wheels only. For factor wheels, see the dealer"... Have any of you managed to get working wheel locks? Did you pry the washers off the factory lugs, and use those with McGards? Or does someone else make locks for this style of lug? Thanks for any input!
