Leave the running boards off, it looks 100% better without.

I thought about leaving the boards off, but the wife and I are a bit vertically challenged and have a bit of a time getting in and out of it now. I really want power boards, but have an issue with the cost $$$. I just dropped a ton of money into it and cant justify that right now. I agree it looks better without, but they have to go back on If I can find a bargain set of newer style boards, I might go with those.

I'm ready to get off this frozen oil patch and get home to the wife, kids, dog and my EX for Thanksgiving next week. Off for 2 weeks so I should be able to get the rest of my fluids changed, batteries swapped, and a good interior detail. Nothing too costly since we just had to drop close to $600 for x-rays on the boxer pup since she was puking all over my new house. Turns out she ate a rock and it's stuck inside. Hopefully she'll pass it naturally or my EX budget goes down the tubes! (yes pun intended )

Thanks for all the compliments, I've really enjoyed finally getting to work on a rig again. Love my EX and best part, so does the wife!

Get the smaller single step style! Then when you can afford, replace with the power ones

Thanks almercenter, I think we have similar tastes Your build is great as well! I bought my EX as a cheaper alternative to my last rig that spent 1/2 of its life sitting around while I'm away at work and making $500 per month payments. The EX replaced that and I paid cash for it and all work done to date. MUCH better feeling!!! Had a line on a 2006 donor to do the coil spring conversion and I should have done it, but I'm still happy with what I have.
