Gauge cluster swap
Will the gauge cluster from a 2006 ranger swap with a 1996 without plug or wiring issues? Thanks in advance for the input.

I don't know if its a plug & play deal but Ill bet your trusted salvage yard knows.

The dashes went to digital for at least the spedo in 2004.

Absolutely not. 2006 Ranger uses the CAN bus (96 does not) and there is a microprocessor in the 2004+ gauge clusters. It's deeper than just the digital odometer.

Thanks for the info CBB9M. I scored a cluster from a 99 Ranger and its working great. Thanks again guys for the advice.
