I have had a misfire when driving between 40-45 MPH at a lower RMP (in traffic when I take my foot off of the gas.) No codes given. I have just over 115,000 miles on the truck and through reading through post I figured it was time to change the COP's and the plugs. I ordered the COP's on line and when I went to install they did not fit. So I placed the old ones back in and one of the rubber pieces in the connector was torn so I removed it (cylinder number 4) Then when I went to drive it I get a rough idle and a really bad miss fire. I also get the codes that read P304 & P0352. I checked the connector and it is fine I would have thought if it was the connector it would be #4. I had to order 8 new COP's OEM this time. Could a bad coil be causing this code? I did not mark the coils when I removed them so I do not know in what order they were in originally. I only did this on the passenger side. Bank 2?
I found a permanent fix for this problem and would highly suggest to others. I bought a Dodge. Thanks for all the great advise I got from the die hard Ford members.

Have a great time diagnosing transmission problems!

Hmmm so the only downside to us Blue Oval owners is we'll never know the troubles the Mopar is/creates because we're not on those forums!
Sadly this problem was pretty much a no brainer easy fix but for some people persistence isn't a strong point, the path of least resistance seemingly always the easier fix.
I did fix the problem OEM coil on cylinder 2. I didn't buy a
dodge I bought another Ford. After everything I have read 2004 was not the best year of F150 to own.
YEAH....... @rods04f150 you had us worried there for a while.
PS. An '04 is what I drive. It's still running pulling strong with 207k miles, but has, and has always had.... the same ole "tick" and "phaser knock" - but only recently got where I can create a P0022 if I abuse it. Which by the way isn't that unusual except for me being an old geezer. If I run it in second gear about 40-50 miles per hour and slam the accel to the floor and let off several times - it will pop an CEL with a P0022. Geez' - guess I outa trade it for a Dodge !!! Lol
